In combination with ancestor spirits, Kuy believe in other nature spirits which include that from the monitor lizard (takuat) which they believe that for being image of fertility. The Kuy execute ceremonies to propitiate the takuat spirit and request fertility from nature. They'd also take the tail with the lizard to utilize in divination ceremonie
